So Johanna and I found this cool little pond a few weeks back. Totally loved this place. There are quite a bit of muddy clay spots you'll have to avoid—but after all its supposed to be there to make the water stay—just take your shoes of and it won't matter as much. ^_^ We had some nice evening light to guide the shoot. Great for the colorful new outfit Johanna picked, and wanted to shoot with. I had something new I wanted to shoot with too: I hadn't used my new 100 mm f/2.8 on a portrait shoot yet. I really like the results I got from it and will definitely use is for more sessions. I've previously been using an old 135 mm from an old analog Yashika film camera with an adapter—I was really missing the auto-focus though it seems.

Johanna und ich fanden vor ein paar Wochen diesen schönen kleinen Teich an einer Wildblumenwiese. Man musste zwar auf ein paar sehr lehmige Stellen achten, aber wenn man einfach die Schuhe auszieht ist das auch nicht mehr so wild. ^_^ Wir hatten traumhaftes Abendlicht, welches uns durch die Session begleitet hat. Genau passend zu dem neuen farbenfrohem Outfit das Johanna ausprobieren wollte. Ich hatte auch was Neues auszuprobieren. Ich hatte mein 100 mm f/2.8 noch nicht bei einem Portrait-Shooting verwendet. Die Ergebnisse gefallen mir sehr gut und ich werde es noch öfter für Portraits einsetzen. Bisher habe ich immer ein altes 135 mm von einer sehr alten analogen Yashika Filmkamera verwendet(mit Bajonett-Adapter)—aber wie sich raus stellt hatte ich wohl wirklich einen Autofokus vermisst.
