I always wondered if I could pull off a contemporary glamour/boudoir type shoot. Julia presented an opportunity to me and we gave it a shot. Take a look and give some feedback if you have any.

I've always wondered how well I could use our apartment as a studio space. Then I woke up one morning and decided to hit a message to couple of people I know on facebook to see if anybody was up for it. Nina was the first to respond with good news. I usually shoot outdoors but the weather sometimes forces you to stay inside — and I can't exactly test the apartment as a studio if I constantly avoid it. I guess you should put a flash to good use if you have one anyway.
Oh and then the sun decided to peek through for 20 minutes so we did a quick series on the balcony.
The Lost Garden
After last weeks preview, here are more of my favorite images from the portrait session I did with Kim. I'm really happy with the results —and to think she was afraid of underperforming — she's a natural (but see for yourself).
Next to Kim's place was a deserted house with a large garden, a perfectly quiet and interesting location. We were a bit weary of the weather, which looked like it would rain but as soon as we got started the sun decided to look through the clouds and see what we were up to.
